We all need money to survive in this society. If there is a healthy relationship to money, what does that look like?

In a sense, having money truly does make the world go round.  There are numerous studies out by neuroscientists that money needs to flow in order for life to flow.  It doesn’t buy happiness, by any stretch of the imagination, but it does buy freedom.  It seems that money is being redefined in some way.  After so many years of the greed society in large corporate conglomerates, the very mention of money has taken on a new meaning.

We all need it for our basics of living.  We all have to survive on an income to support our lifestyles, whether meager or lavish.  We all place a value on money and what it can do for us.  We all have grandiose ideas of attracting financial freedom to live out our dreams.  The question remains:  what is a healthy attachment to money?

People from all walks of life are searching and discovering that money, in all its forms, is only a means to an end.  The economy thrives on the dollar transferring from one resource to another.  It is how we continue to prosper and fund our lives.  Whether as a freelance sole proprietor, a working stiff in any corporate establishment, or a struggling artist of a multitude of creative outlets, money has to happen in order for anything to happen.  It’s pretty plain and simple.  Moreover, your attitude regarding money is the main question.  Do you need it to live above and beyond your means?  If so, then money isn’t used in its proper way.  Even discussing money is difficult, as it is a sensitive subject for many.  But, a new outlook can help.

There are healthy attachments to money.  I’m not entirely fond of the word “attachment” either, as it conjures up images of dependency and self-sacrifice, yet if we can attach ourselves to money in a way that serves the greater good of the world, I’m all for it.  Too many humans are suffering from lack.  Too many small businesses go under due to the injustice of greed and hoarding elsewhere in larger establishments.  This can be taken all the way down to farmers, stay-at-home creative Moms hoping to sell their goods, undiscovered talent on many a stage, and the most well-intended rich folks who have padded 401K’s.

Everyone is waking up to what they want and need to do in their lives.  This time in our history is no longer supporting overpaid and lazy humans of any kind in the work force.  What is standing out in the money world are the people who are making a difference.  The visionaries.   The philanthropists.  The undervalued employees who continue to go above and beyond hoping that their come uppance is due.   The doctors who truly care.  The parents who teach their children the importance of respect, kindness, and generosity.  These are just a few of the variety of society who are worthy of the freedom that money buys.

Manifestation lists are in ever-present supply, and they always revolve around money in one way or another.  You can’t truly relocate without money.  You can’t start a new business without money.  Those organic groceries that you need to support the farmers, it takes money.  Your car (if you have one) and the maintenance of it-money, money, money.  Events for charities and do-gooders around the world, this all takes money to support.   Your home, your nest, your settled space-money is required to stay afloat and keep a roof over your head, however it looks.  I’m not talking about luxury and materialistic anything here.  I’m focusing on attracting money in the healthiest possible way.

It begins with giving back.  The feelings associated with giving quadruples your happiness factor.   When you give back, not just in bills or coins, but by being abundant in your heart.  Showing the Universe that you have the greatest capacity to attract all that you need by simply showing others their own worth.  Sometimes people just want someone to listen to them.  Be that ear for your fellow man or woman.  Be generous in spirit and love.  This is what attracts money and goodness.  This is the healthy attachment to money.   The ripple effect from your actions will resonate and money will flow.  Never fear the actual stream of money coming in, whatever the amount.  Just remember to keep the continuance of that money going outward as well, to anyone or anything.  It is the cycle of our financial world.

Love your money.  Be smart with your money.  Respect your money.  And, above all, know that in this lifetime the money that you possess helps others in the most profound way.  Try not to fall into the greed, hoarding, and materialistic trap. This will only create more hardship for yourself and everyone.   Supply your world with abundance that feeds your soul.  The difference we all make in this crazy money world is the difference between happiness and tragedy.

Trust the process of life.  You will always be safe.
